We are chartered to Grace First Presbyterian Church,
who graciously provide us with meeting space and other needs.
Why we are here
Cub Scouts is a youth program for Kindergarten-5th grade children and their families, that was established by the Boy Scouts of America in 1930. Since then, millions of Scouts have progressed through the ranks of Cub Scouting and Boy Scouting to become some of our best and brightest leaders. Today, Scouting is one of the premier youth service organizations with units located in virtually every community in the nation.
Scouting's purpose is to help young people to learn to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values contained in the Scout Oath and Law. But, the Youth are there for a different reason...to have fun! And Cub Scouting is fun! Fun and games, especially in the outdoors, is a big part of the Scouting program.
